Fly London "Loose": You can't hold tight to this free bird. She wants to FLY! Just let her loose and watch what
happens. When her father sent her off to college to study literature, he thought he was investing in the next great American
journalist. How could he have known that after graduation all this little girl really wanted to do was fly? Literally. So
what is a dad to do? He paid for flight school and crossed his fingers that this was really what his daughter wanted. Imagine
his proud grin, just recently, when she made Captain. Fly free bird... fly!

Bernie Mev "Nicole": The first time I saw her she was working behind the concierge counter at the Embassy Suites
in Chicago. She was a nice girl. A helpful girl. When she walked by us again (after hours - in her own clothes) she looked
like a different person. I stopped her to say, "Hello". She had completely transformed and her outfit was... well,
it was unlike anything I had ever seen. I loved it. Unique, imaginative, but very wearable. I wanted that jacket. She explained
that her real passion was design. She took old fabrics (or old outfits) and she "remade" them into something new
and amazing. I was so taken with her....this girl that stood, by day, behind the concierge counter.

Franco Sarto "Abide": It's been a long, cold winter with more snow than she could remember in a very long time.
When would the sun come out? When would the flowers start to bloom? She couldn't wait to shed her winterwear and lunch
in a pretty little sundress and sandals. She thought, "Key West is sounding really good right about now". Oh to
have her toes exposed and feel the sun's rays on her shoulders. Soon. She knew it would be soon.
Jessica Bennett "Heidi": Heidi knows how to enjoy her life. She works hard and plays smart: Summers in the Hampton's,
tennis on Saturday mornings, and quiet time with a book on occasion. Shopping is part of her job as an interior designer
(lucky girl) and she often travels to find just the right things for her clients. Comfort is key and her personal style is
effortless. With every carefree step she takes, her confidence radiates. The next beach house she decorates should be mine.
Luichiny "Kendra": She's not a wallflower that's for sure. Kendra has worked the Auto Show circuit and now is the
spokeswoman for a line of exquisite rugs from Hagopian. Presently, you can find her strutting her stuff at Hagopian's Birmingham
location. Her next stop? Who knows. I hear she makes frequent stops in Northville. One thing is certain, where ever she goes
she attracts a crowd.
Special thanks to: Howard Appel and Hagopian World of Rugs
Corso Como "Edna": From the boardroom to the boutique, this lady (with the pep in her step) gets what she wants.
Edna may be successful and driven, but she knows what is most important; friends, family, and taking time to relax. Life is
too short and she knows better than anyone that sometimes you just have to let it all go, cancel a couple of appointments
and have a drink with a long lost friend. What's not to admire about a woman who is comfortable in her own skin?
Hale Bob "Stella": Stella loved dressing up in mommy's things when she was a little girl. She would clothe herself
in mommy's finest evening dresses, carefully apply makeup (all over her face, hands, and bathroom counter), select just the
right "diamonds" to adorn pure perfection, strap on the most glamorous shoes, and wrap it all in a mink shawl. As
she (wobbled... I mean) gracefully glided the carpeted hall from the bedrooms to the living room, she would call out for all
to wish her a good time at the "ball". There, in the living room, stood the most handsome prince (her daddy) waiting
for the first dance. She swirled and twirled and dreamed about a marrying a prince just like her daddy.
Jessica Bennett "Havana": Welcome to Cuba, my friends. If Lucy spent more time in these little beauties, Ricky would
have spent a lot less time at the Tropicana. "Oh Lucy!" Embroidered patent leather, as fine as the art of tattooing,
gives these special numbers an edge. She doesn't just want to be in the show, Mr. Ricardo. She is the show!
Poetic Licence "Affairs": She walked into the ballroom and heads turned collectively. Whispers erupted and the question
on everyone's lips rang louder than the orchestra, "Who is she?" Radiantly, she waltzed across the floor leaving
everyone in awe, but she content that only he might notice. How could he not? Could she be the one that he had been waiting
for? The one he had longed for? She captured his heart with a demure glance and that's when their love affair began. You see,
she knew that affairs of the heart dance in our memories forever.
